OUR STORY

The mission of Collaboration Superpowers is to provide individuals, teams, and managers with a roadmap of how to work together anywhere—successfully.

Collaboration Superpowers began in 2004 with a desire to escape the confines of the office…

…and an insatiable curiosity about how others were using remote work to design their own lifestyles and solve interesting problems.

We started by researching how companies were working remotely and sharing that information with our network via social media and Google Hangouts (now Google Meet). Over time, more and more people began asking for products: a podcast, a workshop, and then a book.

With guidance from the talented Nick Jaworski from Podcast Monster, the Collaboration Superpowers podcast launched in 2015 with the purpose of bringing to light the many stories of all the successful remote companies we were speaking with.

With the help of friend and graphic designer, Alfred Boland, and website guru, Good Karma Works, the Collaboration Superpowers website showcases the most recent interviews, workshops and resources for remote workers.

The Work Together Anywhere Workshop and its accompanying Handbook are collections of the tips and techniques gleaned from the interviews.

Work Together Anywhere is the flagship workshop of Collaboration Superpowers. However, based on demand and changing needs, many others have been developed including: Hybrid Team Collaboration, Design & Deliver Great Online Events, the Remote Meetings Masterclass, and more.

When COVID-19 hit, companies worldwide recognized the need to become “remote first” to survive, and Collaboration Superpowers is here to meet the moment. Don’t be fooled by images of pajamas and umbrella drinks. There’s more to being a high performing virtual team than meets the eye. Working remotely is a new medium and we’d love to show you how.

Inspired by the Management 3.0 business model, trainers from all over the world can now license the workshop material to teach their clients and colleagues the fundamentals of productive virtual collaboration.
