For hybrid teamwork to be successful, we need to stop seeing work as a physical location, but instead a series of connections that can be made in multiple ways.

When we are working hybrid, and our day-to-day collaboration is happening in an ever changing blend between in-person and remote colleagues, then we need systematic hybrid work practices to be in place. We need to move from a patchy, ad-hoc way of making hybrid work to getting better aligned within the team on how we want to do our work together as hybrid colleagues.

The Hybrid Team Synergy workshop is design to help individual team members and intact team find a rhythm in the complex hybrid work environment. During the three weeks flow of the Hybrid Team Synergy we will look at a range of the questions relevant for new hybrid practices. Some of these being:

• What does hybrid teams need to thrive?
• What does digital inclusion looks like when hybrid?
• Where do we storage all our team communication and projects?
• How can we run our hybrid meetings to make sure we are mitigating potential in-person bias?
• What team rituals needs to be in place for a healthy hybrid team?
• How can experiments help mature our hybrid work practices?

Workshop Objective

The focus for Hybrid Team Synergy is to create a space for safe discussions and reflections on hybrid working for you and your team. Leave you with tools, inspiration, and concrete next steps to support hybrid team synergy.

Format

The workshop is made up of three 120 minute, interactive online sessions each with a separate focus:

• March 1: Hybrid Context - Me & My Team
• March 8: Hybrid Communication Channels
• March 15: Synergy & Growth

A newly developed Hybrid Blueprint (a Miro online board) is central to the discussions and learnings for the participants. The Hybrid Blueprint will function as a anchor for the group discussions. By the end of the workshop the Hybrid Blueprint will be a portfolio of ideas and action items for each participant to bring back to their own hybrid work context.

Hybrid Team Synergy is designed to model a synchronous/asynchronous balance incorporating async video messages, readings, and group activity in Miro board. Each participant should calculate time for preparation with Learning Partner and input in Miro board (about 1-1.5 hour per week).
